Family-owned eco lodge in Sri Lanka’s tea country. Nestled amongst the highland mountains, the green tea hills of Galaha. The Pekoe Trail Eco Lodge offers a resting spot on the famous 300 km Pekoe Trail.

The lodge sits high on the hillside, surrounded by its own tropical gardens, a peaceful and beautiful location.

Located in Galaha, close to the Pekoe Trail’s starting point, it’s ideal for groups, families, or solo travelers. The lodge has four plantation-style rooms with private bathrooms and one standard room. Offering bed and breakfast, guests enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast to start their day.

Our mission is to provide a comforting, casual, and relaxing house for guests and visitors to unwind and immerse themselves in the beautiful tropical garden surroundings of the colonial-style grand house, situated high in the Sri Lankan highlands.

The colonial-style house features four individual suites with en-suite bathrooms and one standard room, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

Our eco lodge has been built to be sympathetic to the environment, harnessing natural water collection, serving local produce in a calm and beautiful location.

We serve one of Sri Lanka’s best traditional breakfasts, made fresh daily from local produce and paired with tea from nearby hills—perfect to start your day on the Pekoe Trail.

Suites cost $30 per night for two people and include breakfast, fresh towels, bed linen, and toiletries.

Evening meals and laundry service are available for an extra charge. Our team is happy to provide local information to make your stay comfortable.
